Riding with AXX
A Meter Ride uses a starting fare plus live per-second and per-kilometre billing, so the price follows the trip you actually take. A Bid Ride broadcasts your trip to nearby drivers who each send you a price, and you choose the offer you prefer. Meter suits short city hops; bidding tends to suit longer or off-peak journeys.
Yes. AXX Agents can book on your behalf over the phone. You give them your pickup and destination, they arrange the driver, and you receive the trip details by SMS — no app or data needed.
Enter your pickup and drop-off, then choose See prices. You will get a fare estimate for each vehicle class along with the driver ETA. For Meter Rides we show the starting fare and the per-kilometre and per-second rates upfront.
Yes. Choose Schedule for later when you request a ride and set your pickup time. We assign a driver ahead of your pickup window, which is useful for early flights and appointments.
Payments and safety
AXX Pay supports mobile money and cash, and you can settle a trip from your AXX wallet. The payment method you chose is shown on the trip screen before the driver arrives.
Every trip has a one-time PIN you share with your driver before setting off, live trip sharing so someone you trust can follow your journey, and in-app call and chat that keep your phone number private. Drivers complete identity and vehicle verification before they can accept trips.
Raise an SOS from the trip screen and the request is broadcast to nearby workshops and towing partners. You will see their offers, including price and how soon they can reach you, and you pick one.
Earning and doing business
Register on the driver app, submit your licence, vehicle documents and identity for verification, and once approved you can accept metered trips or bid for jobs. If you do not own a vehicle, our Work & Pay plans let you earn towards one.
Yes. The Fleet portal lets you register vehicles and drivers, assign jobs, move cargo, and track earnings in one place. Larger operators can bid for contracts through the same broadcast model.
No. Vendors such as car washes, fuel stations, hotels and towing services receive jobs by SMS and confirm them in a browser. There is nothing to install.
We are rolling out across Ghana city by city. Coverage for your area is confirmed when you enter a pickup location, and we will publish the full city list at launch.
